Sault is now open Thursday nights for dinner.

We welcome our new head chef Cindy Crozier.

Cindy hails originally from Kyneton and has garnered her skills from such wonderful establishments as Midsummer House in the Uk and Aria in Sydney.

She has designed a new Winter menu to warm your palettes.

With Winter on our doorstep it is a great time to come in and sit by the roaring fire and enjoy a glass of wine or enjoy a meal overlooking the lake as the winter sun sparkels and the leaves change to gold.

For a tasty example of the new menu why not try the Pan roasted scallops on cauliflower puree with Istra chorizo and petit herb salad followed by the crispy skinned free range duck breast, on herbed lentils wiht sweet potato puree, wilted spinach and Tokay sauce and to complete the night, the Kennedy & Wilson chocolate and mocha tart, cardamon ice cream and vanilla tuille

Further to this you are guaranteed to be personally looked after by one of the owners as you travel the exciting road of planning your wedding. Unlike other venues where you are left in the hands of a 'function co-ordinator', owner/operator Jodi Flockhart assists you from your initial enquiry through to and including the big day.

At Sault, we understand that every bride and groom have individual requirements for their celebrations and as such we offer a variety of ceremony and reception options. When perusing our 2010 packages, please keep in mind that we enjoy the opportunity of tailoring these to better suit your needs and thus encourage you to provide a brief to us of what you want your special day to be.

Current prices are valid until June 30th 2011 after which a 5% (approximate) price increase will apply.

From a beautiful garden ceremony amidst the flowering lavender to an elegant and intimate winter function with the roar of the open fire as your back drop, you can be assured that your friends will not have experienced a day such as yours.


Duration of Packages

All the packages listed below are for a 5 hour duration and a minimum of 50 people. Upgrades and add-ons to the package are listed below and tailored quotes are available for groups smaller than 50. An extensive menu listing accompanies these packages, however should you require something a little different or cuisine themed (i.e. Asian African....), please don't hesitate to ask. We provide for harvest style seating, rectangles or squares (for groups of 80 or less).

We can seat up to 110 guests and our standing capacity is 130. These prices are valid until to June 30th 2011, after which a 5% (approximate) price increase will apply. All Package Prices Include GST.

Hours for functions

Please note: Wedding packages cannot be extended past 11.30pm and packages cannot go longer than 6 hours.


Group transport

For groups a bus can be arranged to drop guests at Sault and return them back to Daylesford Hepburn region at the conclusion of your function.
