The History of Sault

The History of Sault

At Sault we are really proud to offer our exquisite private property to our couples on their special day.

Damien and I (Jodi) got married at Sault ourselves and as the story goes loved the place so much we bought it. We find all our brides are looking for that special experience of having a stunning private property to wow their guests.

Sault is a 100 acre property featuring it’s own lake and acres of perfectly manicured gardens and lavender fields. Combined with the addition of our new chapel overlooking the lake and created with recycled timbers on the outside to create that rustic feel and stunning white interior with a large feature window, creates the perfect backdrop for your ceremony.

Once your ceremony is complete guests can play Bocce or mingle on the deck and enjoy canapés, then come in for a wonderful dinner created by our very talented head chef Hugh Maxwell. We use the freshest regional produce (including from our own Kitchen Garden) and wines to create the perfect country escape and magical experience for our couples and their guests.

With backgrounds in hospitality and 12 years at Sault hosting hundreds of weddings, we embrace each wedding and couples needs to personalise the day.

“Many thanks to Jodi and Damien for making our day so wonderful. We are thankful to you both you went above and beyond with everything, everyone mentioned how excellent the service was and all the staff were so lovely and friendly”
